[Actually For Realsies Nervous]

Tomorrow I’m doing a live stream at https://www.twitch.tv/rainleander and vlogging right here on Sunday and even though I have extensive public speaking experience and have even spoken at FOUR virtual events and … I’m still seriously for realsies really nervous about this.

WTF.

But first the news:

But, seriously, the only reason this is scary?

At all?

Is that I’ve never done it before.

[Taking Time After A Rough Day]

Yesterday was a bit rough and I can tell that I’m in recovery mode today as I slept in past my alarm clock and I’m LITERALLY moving slower.

And that’s totally okay.

But first the news:

It’s a little fuzzier to think, too, but I’m taking it all in stride. This is what depression and emotional instability are like – it’s rough in the middle of it and it’s slower in recovery mode, but I will heal and stabilise over time.

[Today Was Kinda Rough]

It started with a call from IT.

I couldn’t reset my laptop password. I mean, I could in recovery mode, but it would be overwritten once the operating system loaded. Or something loaded.

Because, really, once I know the root cause, I am chill.

Sort of.

[Today I Learned: Self Help Books]

Photo by Nong Vang on Unsplash

I’ve got quite a lot of books to read over in The Farmer Project and while these aren’t my preferred sci fi or deeply technical books, they do have valuable information gems.

But first the news:

Have you heard of Blinkist?

It basically sums up nonfiction books so you can inhale the information quickly. And while it’s cool to have the app on your phone and just get the single free book per day, I’m not sure it’s worth the paid membership.
