Dutch Lock Down Day Ninety One

[And Now For More Rain]

I was in the weekly newsletter this week at Packet cause I’m giving talks at OpenShift Commons Gathering and StackConfEU.

But first the news:

“Rain Leander, Community Manager, will represent Packet at two events next week.”

Would you like to know more?

“First up! They will lead an AMA Live Chat at the OpenShift Commons Gathering hosted on Monday, June 15th. Rain and three fellow panelists will chat with Thierry Carrez (OpenStack Foundation) about “Lessons Learned under the Big Tent: The OpenStack Journey” at 1:30-2:30 PM EST. This is a free virtual event, but registration is required.”

ASIDE: Can we talk about something for a second? I identify as non-binary. My pronouns are they / them. I don’t get offended when someone uses feminine or masculine pronouns to refer to me. I’ve grown up with people using she and he because I have a bit of an androgynous look. I don’t mind if you get it wrong. But. When people get it right? It makes me SO happy. I feel SEEN. And Packet has done SUCH a wonderful job of getting my pronouns right. It’s one of the reasons I’m so totally in love.

“On June 18th, Rain will speak on Leveraging Procedural Knowledge: From Riding a Bike to Bare Metal Automation at StackConf 2020, a three-day open source infrastructure online conference running from June 16th-18th.”

To say that I’m going to be slightly stressed, that I AM slightly stressed, is an understatement.

I know I’ll be okay.

But I could use some good vibes, please, Warriors.
