[Sleep Might Be Difficult Tonight]
I never thought I’d be super excited to go work out.
But I SO TOTALLY AM.
I’m especially super chuffed to see my personal trainer cause she’s awesome and she’s guaranteed to make me sore and she’s so totally going to get me fit again.
With my help.
Over a longer span of time than just, say, one hour tomorrow morning.
But first the news:

I even went on a super long walk today and totally got ten thousand steps in!
What is happening, Warriors?
Well, a lot, actually.
I start the new job on Monday. This vacation is almost over. I landed a talk in a virtual conference so I need to write a talk, inhale Open Broadcast Software, and record / edit / submit the finalized project. The kids are back at school and daycare for a few weeks now and haven’t gotten sick. Yet. I’m starting to normalize. Ish. We bought a used but new to us HYBRID. We were approved for a home loan and are going to renovate the kitchen, the bathroom, and maybe the master bedroom. I just realized that I can go clothes shopping for ME for the first time in FIVE YEARS.
AND I GET TO WORKOUT WITH IFAT TOMORROW!! !
I should also maybe not go shopping for those new clothes until I’ve worked out with Ifat for a few months or so again.
What is happening?
I’m on an upswing. That I’d like to stabilize.
This upswing is care of all the aforementioned things – directly and indirectly – sure, but also the heat? The sun? The hope of a post COVID normalcy?
I don’t really care as long as it stabilizes.
Mental resiliency is always the ultimate goal.
But, yeah, so totally stoked for tomorrow morning.
