PyCon Sweden 2019 Wants YOU!

PyCon Sweden is happening again and they want you to speak!

Thanks to the great response last year, PyCon Sweden is back AGAIN. It will be TWO full days of talks, activities and fun.

The conference is October 31st and November 1st at Munchenbryggeriet in Stockholm. If you are not based in Stockholm, it’s a great time of year to visit!

Early bird tickets are open for sale and you can get any kind of ticket at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pycon-sweden-2019-tickets-64625067316

And how super awesome is it that Shammamah Hossain will be the keynote speaker. She is a McGill University alumnus with a joint degree in physics and computer science. Since June 2018, she has been working at Plotly as the main engineer for the Dash DAQ and Dash Bio libraries.

Last but not least, PyCon Sweden now accepting proposals for talks – please submit your proposal at: https://forms.gle/Bo1VDmcikcJDf85A8

If you are worried about whether or not you should submit a proposal, don’t be. Everyone’s welcome!

Anyone with any level of Python knowledge is a candidate for a good topic at this conference. If you’re a first time speaker with limited experience, contact them – they will help you out! As PyCon Sweden gets attendees of all kinds, they need speakers of all kinds. In all ways and manners, they try to assemble the most diverse conference they can, and they do that with your help.

If you don’t have an idea for a proposal right now, please help spread the word about this CFP! The more people that hear about the conference and submit proposals, the better off the conference and the Python community at large will be. This is the perfect opportunity to encourage your talented friend or colleague to speak.

If you have any questions about submitting a proposal, please email cfp@pycon.se and they are more than happy to help you out.

Again, please submit your proposals via https://forms.gle/Bo1VDmcikcJDf85A8 and spread the word – thank you!
