Sure, sometimes we fall back on bullet point lists cause we’ve read entirely too much buzzfeed and lists are all the rage, but sometimes, and more likely in this case, we let that buffer fall behind until it was nothing and forgot to write anything for today and now it’s today and it’s thirty minutes after your regularly scheduled publication.
So, without further ado, three quick and dirty links to amazing technical resources.
- You can get an Online Master of Science in Computer Science from GA Tech. And since I’m completely in awe over this opportunity, I’m speechless. Literally. So I’m just gonna copy / paste from their site.
“We have teamed up with Udacity and AT&T to offer the first online Master of Science in Computer Science from an accredited university that students can earn exclusively through the “massive online” format and for a fraction of the normal cost.”
Seriously, we’re talking around $7,000. Around €6160. Around £4900.
DO YOU SEE WHY I’M SPEECHLESS?!?
- You can learn python online for free. The entire book, Learn Python The Hard Way, is available online, for free. And it’s GOOD. The only caveat (sure, there’s a caveat) is that you HAVE TO do ALL OF THE exercises. Don’t skip. JUST DO IT.
- But if reading isn’t your cup of tea, check out Coding is for Girls, a youtube channel that breaks down all sorts of awesomeness like command line and python into easily digestible bite sized chunks. Go watch the intro. Savor that music. Learn something new.
And when you get a chance to check out these links above, tell me about your thoughts and experiences in the comments below.
